MY GIRL FRIENDS ARE IN A BOUGHT RELATIONSHIP

One common and awfully romantic gesture often made in most relationships is pampering your significant other with gifts to show that sweet love you’ve both got going. As heart-melting and fever-blushing the joy of it may be, I think the worst case scenario draws more to it on both sides.

Many young ladies out there have bought that fallacy of getting a man with beauty and pinning him down with sex and food, hence thwarting their aim in finding true love. More so, most ladies have been noted to be attracted to guys with more materialistic possessions A.KA. the “classy” (IPhone, Tablets, Cars etc.) and the “always to die for,” money.

As such, guys drown in that believe and tend to use that as a way to put their ulterior motives into action. They always feel it’s ok to “spread” the ladies unnecessarily just so they could go downtown and eat it like a vulture.

Some ladies also don’t mind giving in because they’ve planted that thought of: “I’m giving him something he can feel to let him know this love is real. All he has to do is to buy, buy, buy and buy till I die.”

Worst case scenario? They are not even in a relationship with those guys that buy them gifts and neither are the guys in with the girls!

How tender these follies are until they become calloused and then the vulnerable lady would break down, displaying some cocktail of emotions and cursing all men while the heartbreaker goes to brag to his friends saying “I was here some”.

This kind of love galore seems to be the fairytale of a nightmare and that’s why I chose to write this piece to all my ‘girl friends’ out there. Yes, I am not a girl nor do I understand the needs of a lady but does it feel good to be at the stage where your genitals are controlled by your urge for material things?

And to my brothers, are we ever going to make a run for our wallets when the ladies come around every time with their Christmas shopping list, expecting us to “Ho-Ho-Ho” after rubbing our bellies?

Let’s ease the stress on this one. If you are a lady and a guy keeps buying you stuff on or off demand, then there is something to suspect. Same for the guys. if a girl you barely know, begins to ask for money and gifts and does so while appealing to your genitals (seduction), run!
